Waking up in a cold sweat from a nightmare/
Of me walking out on a big stage with a knife and ending my life there/

Knowing she can see right through me every time I lie, she quite scared/

Of what’s going on in my head, hell so am I/
Still battling with depression, that don’t mean that I wanna die/
Yea I've contemplated suicide, but I'm better now, at least mentally/
But I can't lie, it don't feel good to be 35 and still tryna figure out/

Am I living up to my potential, did I follow my dreams/
When I die, what kind of legacy do I wanna leave/

Will I be around long enough for me to have the chance to answer that/
Will I die the same way he did, due to heart failure and obesity/
So many health problems in our history, realistically, can I manage that/

All of my life I been fat, despite my effort to lose weight/
Hell I gained more through the pandemic, no self control, I'm losing faith/
I just wanna live long enough for my cause of death to be old age/
But I can't escape these bad habits, keep going back to my old ways/

Some things just hereditary, when you study the genetics/
Embedded within you man it can get hella scary, if you let it worry you/
Before you know it you'll be dead and buried, so cherish the time that you have/
Live for the moment, let go of the past, before your forevers get turned into neveraries/

I know everyone wanna be legendary, but legend has it/
When you in a casket, in a cemetery, it don't fucking matter/
They don’t love you now, they won’t love you after/
